We went to Powells on a very busy Saturday night so it was a bit hectic, however the staff were so lovely and the wine we got was amazing (the orange wine). The food all came out in really good time considering how busy it was and it was so beautifully presented and great cheese and accompaniments.Will definitely be back, a great addition to Leederville and the venue is beautiful.

Incredible experience at Powell’s! Jas was so lovely and came and sat with us to explain the cheeses and recommended the best. Wine was perfect, arancini and pate are a must too! Can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely adored this divine wine bar. Service was 10/10 as was the wine & food. Intimate, yet with a humming noise of laughter & delightful chatter. Warm & friendly. Chic & sophisticated. Can’t wait to return. The Rosè & focaccia … a must!!!

Lovely food and overall a good experience but the night we attended was a rainy, cold night and we were seated next to the door leading to the outdoor seating area. The staff struggled with the door, didn't have anywhere to put their food/drinks in order to open the door, the door was left open by people going in and out and as the table was very close to the door, was a little uncomfortable. We would be happy to go back and try again if sitting elsewhere!

A fabulous wine bar in Leederville. The perfect pairings of cheeses and wines. We had the 5 cheese plate - when it comes to cheese less is not more. If in doubt definitely get the focaccia and the San Daniele prosciutto. We tried a couple of the wines, they were all spectacular. Everything served here is of the highest quality. It gets pretty busy so definitely book so you don't miss out. It's a 1.5 hour time slot, enough time for 2 glasses of wine and an excuse to check out some of the other wonderful venues nearby. Will definitely be heading back soon.

We had a lovely date at Powells, we booked and were initially seated outside near the loos... we asked if there was room inside and they managed to sit us at an open table. Ordered wine, burrata and focaccia all were delectable and came out promptly with a smile! We look forward to returning and trying a cheese plate.Feedback I would give to them is sort out the outdoor area, get some plants and lighting going on and pop some screening in front of the loos. My partner said he would have enjoyed salt and olive oil with the focaccia instead of butter so perhaps that could be an option.If you like fine cheese and wine definitely check it out!

The girls there are amazing and have so much knowledge on cheese and wine! The moment you walk in you’re made to feel so welcome like you’re walking into someone’s home! I will be back for more!!
